The theme of this virtual training event is “Providers at the crossroads.” Over the last 2 years, the world has changed and so has our profession. At the crossroads, we look forward to a new and different future. We also will reflect on the impact of the pandemic on ourselves, and acknowledge its impact on the migrants served, from the perspective of providers of immigration medical examinations. This training is designed to support the educational needs of panel physicians, nurses, assistants, technologists, specialists, administrators, and all staff who work to provide immigration medical examinations for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. This activity supports our network of panel physicians with important updates from country representatives. Registered participants will be able to view archived sessions.

Aim

To provide Panel Physicians with updates from Migration 5 countries on immigration medical examination (IME) requirements and to support current knowledge and best practices among providers of IME's.

Target Audience

Practicing physicians who serve as a panel physician for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and/or United States of America immigration medical examinations.

Non-physician participants who assist panel physicians and have an educational background in their field (e.g., nursing, administrative management) and/or who generally have experience in working with panel physicians.
